Executive Recruiter

Our client seeks an experienced Executive Recruiter to drive sales leadership hiring across multiple markets. The recruiter will focus on roles such as District Sales Manager and Zone Manager, while flexing to support additional sales recruiting needs as priorities shift. The role requires rapid market immersion, clear understanding of target profiles, effective sourcing, and the ability to build and sustain pipelines of qualified, often passive, candidates. The recruiter will partner closely with senior hiring leaders, evaluate leadership capabilities, and manage multiple concurrent searches in a fast-paced environment. Prior sales recruiting experience is required, with HCM, payroll, HR technology, or comparable B2B sales experience preferred.

This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. Rate: $30.00 to $40.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:

• Recruit sales leadership talent across multiple sales organizations and geographic markets.
• Lead searches for District Sales Manager, Zone Manager, and related sales leadership positions.
• Partner with hiring leaders to define requirements, team structure, market needs, and success profiles.
• Develop sourcing strategies and quickly identify relevant talent pools in new markets.
• Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines for current and future needs.
• Proactively source and engage passive sales leadership candidates.
• Conduct recruiter screens to assess leadership experience, management capabilities, and fit.
• Evaluate candidates on coaching ability, performance management, and leadership of field-based teams.
• Present qualified candidates with an emphasis on submission quality.
• Influence experienced professionals to consider new opportunities and nurture relationships.
• Manage multiple searches and pivot between markets as priorities change.
• Partner closely with recruiting teams and hiring leaders through interview and selection stages.
• Utilize LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS, CRM and sourcing tools, and Seamless.
• Manage activity to performance expectations including screens, submissions, hires, and candidate quality.

Experience Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience recruiting sales professionals and sales leadership.
• Experience filling people-leader roles such as District Sales Manager and Zone Manager.
• Understanding of outside and field sales organizations and leadership success factors.
• Proven ability to source and engage passive candidates.
• Ability to learn new geographic markets and develop sourcing strategies.
• Strong outreach and influencing skills with experienced professionals.
• Credible communication with senior and executive hiring leaders.
• Ability to evaluate leadership candidates on coaching, development, and results.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and pivot as needs change.
• Comfort operating in a fast-paced recruiting environment.
• Strong partnership with hiring managers and recruiting teams.
• Facility with recruiting technologies and sourcing platforms.
• Nice to have: HCM or payroll industry recruiting, mid-market or enterprise B2B sales recruiting, multi-market leadership recruiting, field-based sales leadership recruiting, experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS, CRM tools, and support of high-volume or rapidly changing needs.
