Schedule

• Monday-Friday
• Elementary: 8:45 AM - 3:45 PM
• Secondary: 7:45 AM - 2:45 PM

Job Summary


The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) provides behavioral support to students, helping create a safe, respectful, and positive learning environment. Working alongside teachers and school staff, you'll implement behavior intervention strategies, monitor student progress, and encourage student success.


Responsibilities

• Conduct behavioral observations and assessments.
• Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) as directed.
• Support students using positive behavior strategies.
• Track and document student progress and behavior.
• Respond to and de-escalate behavioral situations using approved techniques.
• Communicate effectively with school staff and families as appropriate.
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and support teams.
• Promote a welcoming and inclusive learning environment.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.

Qualifications

• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required.
• Experience working with students with behavioral challenges or special needs preferred.
• Knowledge of behavior management strategies and evidence-based interventions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Crisis prevention/de-escalation training (such as CPI or similar) is a plus.
• Patient, dependable, and committed to supporting student success.
